INSTRUCCIONES A LOS AUTORES
(in English below)
1.- Los trabajos podrán presentarse en castellano o en inglés y podrán ser publicados en estos idiomas.
2. El autor del envío del manuscrito será el destinatario de todas las comunicaciones relacionadas con la propuesta de publicación. Deberá indicar una dirección postal, un teléfono y una dirección de correo electrónico. Esta persona se hará responsable, en el caso de que existan varios autores, de contactar con sus colaboradores.
3. Los trabajos han de ser inéditos en cualquier lengua. Será responsabilidad del autor informar sobre la situación de los derechos de autor.
4. La extensión de los textos no deberá superar las 300 páginas (interlineado 1.5, Times New Roman, 12) incluidas notas y bibliografía. Siendo recomendable, por motivos editoriales, que la extensión sea de unas 200 páginas.
5. Los trabajos se enviarán a la dirección electrónica: pluralismoyminorias@webphilosophia.com
– Se enviarán dos archivos, en formato Word, uno con la versión del manuscrito tal y como el autor desee que se publique y otro anonimizado, de tal manera que tendrán que suprimirse todas las referencias (bibliográficas, agradecimientos, etc.) que puedan identificar directa o indirectamente al autor o de las que pueda inferirse su identidad.
6. Se adjuntará, en formato Word, una breve nota biográfica del autor o autores, de no más de 200 palabras por cada persona.
7. También se adjuntará, en formato Word, en formato electrónico y en papel un breve resumen de la obra de 200 a 250 palabras. El resumen deberá exponer con claridad el contenido y objeto del trabajo.
Proceso editorial
Envío y recepción de textos
1.- Una vez se remita un original a la Colección Pluralismo y minorías por email, se dará acuse de recibo a la misma y se habrán solucionado las cuestiones formales que tengan que ver con las Instrucciones a los autores y las reglas de cita.
2.- Tras su recepción, se procederá a revisar detalladamente el original para asegurar su carácter anónimo.
3.- Con carácter general, la obra se enviará a a evaluación externa al Consejo Científico de la “Colección Pluralismo y minorías”, de la editorial Dykinson, para que procedan a su evaluación. Sin, embargo, en ciertos casos, Los Directores de la Colección podrán decidir acerca de la procedencia de eximir la publicación del procedimiento de evaluación, mediante resolución motivada.
4.- Los evaluadores emitirán un informe sobre el interés y la calidad del original, y sobre la conveniencia o no de publicarlo, que será tomado en consideración por el Consejo científico. En el caso de que las dos evaluaciones resulten abiertamente discrepantes, podrá solicitarse una tercera evaluación.
5.- Los criterios en los que se fundamenta las decisiones del Consejo científico sobre aceptación o rechazo de manuscritos son, entre otros, las siguientes: originalidad, relevancia, claridad, calidad metodológica, presentación y estilo.
Proceso de publicación
6.- Las condiciones sobre la edición del libro se acordarán, una vez el original haya sido aceptado.
7.- El autor de un original aceptado se compromete a no publicar su texto en ninguna otra editorial, sea en formato papel o electrónico, salvo que la Editorial Dykinson le autorice expresamente a ello.
8.- A los autores que lo soliciten se les expedirá un certificado en el que conste que su original ha sido admitido y está pendiente de publicación.
Corrección de pruebas
9.- En el proceso de corrección de pruebas no se permiten modificaciones o alteraciones sustanciales del contenido del original tal y como fue aprobado para su publicación.
10.- Los autores se comprometen a realizar una profunda revisión de las pruebas de imprenta. La publicación no se llevará acabo sin que se haya cumplido satisfactoriamente este requisito.
Reglas de cita
El sistema de cita recomendado para la colección “Pluralismo y minorías”, de la Editorial Dykinson, es Harvard Quotation Style.
1.- Indique, en el texto, el apellido del autor y el año de publicación en el texto (entre paréntesis) o en notas al final: (Gould 1997).
3.- Para citas directas, incluya un número de página: (Gould 1997, 34).
4.- Si se cita más de un trabajo, separe las citas con punto y coma: (Gould 1997, 34; Mayr 1980).
5.- Para más de dos autores de un solo trabajo, use “et al.”: (Yogman et al. 1976).
6. Para dos obras publicadas en el mismo año por el mismo autor, utilice “a” y “b”: (Gould 1995a) o (Gould 1995a, b).
Al final del texto, se ha de incluir las referencias completas de la bibliografía según estas indicaciones:

El trabajo debe presentarse en Times New Roman, tamaño de letra 12, interlineado 1.5 y con sangría al inicio de párrafo. Los títulos de los apartados irán en mayúscula sin negrita, tamaño 12. Se utilizará la negrita en los subtítulos del artículo y la cursiva en los subtítulos del tercer nivel. Se debe evitar hacer uso de la negrita y el subrayado en el cuerpo del texto. Para resaltar palabras o frases en el texto se utilizará preferentemente la cursiva.
Las citas de más de 10 líneas deberían ir en un párrafo, centrado, con sangría en ambos lados, a interlineado 1, tamaño de letra 11 y entre comillas.
Se utilizarán comillas inglesas (“”) preferentemente. En los casos de comillas dentro de comillas, se usarán comillas simples (‘’) para el fragmento del interior. No se recomienda el uso de comillas latinas o españolas («»).
Cuando se empleen en el texto en español, palabras o expresiones procedentes de otras lenguas, deberán escribirse preferentemente en cursiva.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR AUTHORS
1.-The originals may be presented in Spanish or English, as publication can be in either language.
2.- The author who sends the manuscript will be the recipient of all communications linked with the proposal of publication. It should include a postal address, a contact phone number, and an email address. This person will be responsible, if there are many authors, for contacting their collaborators.
3.- The work must the original and can be in any language. The author will be responsible for informing of the situation relating to copyrights.
4.- The text should be no more than 300 pages (1.5 spacing, Times New Roman, font size 12). For editorial reasons, it is advisable not to exceed 200 pages.
5.- The originals must be sent by email to the following address: pluralismoyminorias@webphilosophia.com
-It must be sent two files: in Word format, i.e., the version of the manuscript as the author wishes to be published, and another, anonymised, in which all references (bibliographic, greetings, etc.) that could directly or indirectly identify the author having been erased.
6.- A brief biographical note from the author, or authors, must be attached as a Word document. This note should not be more that 200 words for each person.
7.-A brief summary of the book of between 200 to 250 words must also be attached, in a Word document. The summary should describe the content and objective of the work clearly.
Editorial process
Sending and reception de texts
1.- Once an original has been submitted to the “Collection Pluralism and minorities” by email, acknowledgment of receipt will be provided, and formal issues linked with Instructions for authors and quoting rules will have been resolved.
2.- On receipt, the original will be carefully reviewed to ensure its anonymity.
3.- As a general rule, the original will be sent to external experts who are not members of the Scientific Committee of the “Collection Pluralism and minorities”, who will referee the work. However, in certain cases, the Directors of the Collection may opt not to follow the referee process, and in such a circumstance will provide an written explanation as to why.
4.- The experts will report on the interest and quality of the original, and on the suitability or not of publishing it. This report will form the basis of the Scientific Committee’s decision. If the two experts are unable to agree, a third expert may be consulted.
5.- The decision to accept or reject a manuscript taken by the Scientific Committee will based on the following criteria, without limitation: originality, relevance, clarity, methodological quality, presentation, and style.
Process of publication
6.- The terms relating to editing the book will be agreed when the original has been accepted.
7.- The author of an accepted original agrees not to publish their text in any other editorial, be it as a hardcopy or electronically, unless Dykinson Editorial expressly authorises this.
8.- The authors who so request will be provided with a certificate confirming that the original has been approved and is pending publication.
Proofreading
9.- Substantial modifications or changes of the original content will not be permitted during the proofreading process, as it was the original text that was accepted for publication.
10.- The authors agree to proofread the text thoroughly. Publication will not take place unless this requirement has been satisfactorily complied with.
Rules for Quotations
The recommended quoting system for the “Collection Pluralism and minorities”, of Dykinson Editorial, is Harvard Quotation Style.
1.- Give author’s last name and year of publication in the text (in parentheses) or in endnotes: (Gould 1997).
2.- For direct quotations, include a page number: (Gould 1997, 34).
3.- If more than one work is cited, separate the citations with semicolons: (Gould 1997, 34; Mayr 1980).
4.- For more than two authors of a single work, use “et al.”: (Yogman et al. 1976).
5.- For two works published in the same year by the same author, use “a” and “b”: (Gould 1995a) or (Gould 1995a,b).

The article must be laid out in Times New Roman, font size 12, line spacing 1.5, left indent at the beginning of a paragraph. The titles of the sections must be in capitals, Roman, size 12. Bold will be used in the subtitles of the article. Avoid using bold and underline in the body of the text. To highlight words or phrases in the text, italics must be preferred.
Quotations of more than 10 lines should be in a paragraph, centered, indented on both sides, line spaced 1, font size 11 and between quotation marks.
English quotation marks (“”) must be used preferred. In cases of quotes within quotes, single quotes (‘’) will be used for the fragment inside. The use of Latin or Spanish quotation marks («») is not recommended.
When words or expressions from other languages are used different that the text’s own language, they should preferably be written in italics.
